Resume content —text you paste or upload, used only to generate your analysis
Job title and description —used only for matching analysis
Usage data —anonymous data such as number of analyses run, stored locally in your browser (localStorage) only

We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal identifying information unless you contact us directly.

2. How We Use Your Data

The resume and job information you provide is used solely to:

Generate your ATS match score and improvement suggestions
Send your content to our AI analysis API (see Third-Party Services below)

Your data is not stored on our servers after your analysis is complete. We do not use your resume content for training, advertising, or any other purpose.

3. We Do Not Sell Your Data

We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information or resume content to any third party for marketing or commercial purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

To provide AI-powered analysis, we use the following third-party service:

OpenRouter / DeepSeek AI —Your resume text is sent to this API to generate analysis results. Their usage is governed by their own privacy policy. Your data is not retained by them for training purposes under our API agreement.
Netlify / Vercel —Our website hosting providers. Standard server logs may be collected per their policies.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser localStorage (not cookies) to track the number of free analyses you've used. This data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers. You can clear it anytime by clearing your browser data.

6. Data Security

All data transmitted between your browser and our service is encrypted via HTTPS. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, though no internet transmission is 100% secure.

7. Children's Privacy

ResumeMatch AI is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
